The Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program invites proposals for presentations, workshops and panels for its upcoming symposium, centered on the theme of “Bridges to Healing: Integrated and Inclusive Approaches in Counseling Practice.” The event highlights interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling to advance equitable care and holistic healing.
Themes of interest include:
- Integrated models of care across clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling
- Inclusive, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practices
- Interprofessional collaboration and systems-level approaches
- Disability-affirming and strengths-based counseling
- Community-based interventions and advocacy
- Ethics, supervision, and counselor education innovations
- Research, practice-based evidence and case studies
Presentation formats can include oral presentations, case studies, practice innovations and research or program evaluations. Student-led presentations are welcome.
Proposals can be submitted using the online form by Sunday, March 15.
The Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Symposium is from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, April 24, at the Kremen Education Building, Room 360.
