The Day of Remembrance (Feb. 19) is a significant date in U.S. history that marks the signing of E.O. 9066, which led to the forceable removal and incarceration of 120,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry.
A talk by Hon. Johnny Gogo about the 48-star Flag Signing Project to honor Nisei veterans and their descendants. Includes a panel discussion by survivors of the Japanese American incarceration camps: Carlene Tanigoshi Tinker, Midori Tani, Paul Saito.
