Faculty, mark your calendars and register your classes. Planning for the third end-of-semester symposium for your students to share their high-impact practices (HIPs) and course-based undergraduate research (CUREs) is underway.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8 in the Henry Madden Library Ellipse Gallery.
The event gives students a chance to share their extraordinary learning experiences via service learning, project-based learning, undergraduate research, first-year experiences, internships and other types of high-impact practice experiences.
There is still room for participants. Faculty can sign their students up to present by clicking here.
This event is jointly supported by the Office of the Provost, Center for Faculty Excellence, Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning, the Career Center, the Learning Center and the College of Science and Mathematics.
