Spring 2020 registration is open for the President's Cultural Competency Certificate Program. There is no cost for Fresno State staff, faculty and administrators.
The program provides participants with a greater understanding of how we can and why we should work together to continue building a strong and inclusive Fresno State community. Participants will also have an opportunity to reflect on their learning through writing, art, music and/or other forms of expression.
Certificates awarded to those who complete all the required and elective seminars. Non-certificate seekers are welcome to attend all seminars. All
spring seminars are in Library 2206. Registration available through Organizational Excellence.

Peaceful Problem Solving in a Multicultural Environment

In this seminar, participants will learn how to promote a culture of peace through inclusive dialogue, learn the fundamental concepts of conflict and conflict management, demonstrate an understanding of moral and humanitarian issues in peace and conflict studies, and gain tangible skills about how to identify and resolve cultural conflicts.
