What began as a “bold idea” in the 2017 Bold Ideas Challenge has now come to fruition in Fresno State’s newest employee recognition program — High Five. Click here to read about how the program began.
High Fives are easy to give — simply go to the High Five website on the Organizational Excellence webpage, click “Give a High Five” and fill out the form to send kudos to anyone on campus. Your message will be delivered straight to their inbox, and recipients will be acknowledged weekly in Campus News.
Read below how your colleagues are going above and beyond to help the campus community.

Above & Beyond
Will Tubbs, Technology Services
Will is always soooo helpful. He comes to my classes the first day of class to help students install the software needed for my course so we are off and running on Day 1! He is also available to troubleshoot any problems that arise throughout the semester.
Katelyn Spencer, University Development
Just the other day, I heard a co-worker tell her, "You did that so fast! How do you do it?" We all ask the same question!
Martina Granados, Outreach and Special Programs
Martina has been incredibly helpful in assisting me and our program, Upward Bound, through the process of submitting our Annual Performance Report to the U.S. Department of Education. Without her help and guidance, the process would have been more stressful and challenging. She is truly a great person who you can always count on and who is willing to help.
Mike Nourian, Plant Operations
Mike works fast and is a very hard worker. Appreciate it.
Saved My Bacon!
Will Tubs, Technology Services
My classroom technology was acting up on the 1st day of classes ( and again today) and he was there to Save My Bacon!
Katelyn Spencer, University Development
Katelyn will provide back-up help by attending/prepping for meetings when people have to stay home with their sicks. Also, she helped give a campus tour for a new employee at the last minute to help round out the new employee's orientation.
