Dr. Miguel Pedroza and Dr. Carmen Licon Cano are part of a team of international experts hosting a wine and cheese cruise through the legendary Rhône River Valley in France, May 30 through June 6, 2024, from Arles to Lyon.

Dr. Miguel Pedroza, an assistant professor in enology, will share insight on a wide variety of wines from the Rhône, Beaujolais and Jura at educational seminars, dinners and food pairings.
- Dr. Carmen Licon Cano, an assistant professor in food science and nutrition, will provide insight into cheese making and artisan style techniques tied to different French regions.
The trip is open to alumni and supporters, and a donation from every passenger's fare will go to support scholarships for students from the Viticulture and Enology and Food Science programs.
