Sam Lankford and Jill Lankford (Recreation Administration), along with co-author Daniel Wheeler, released a new edition of their book, “An Introduction to Park Management.” This the fourth edition of the book, which is designed for university students pursuing the parks profession.

Peggy Trueblood (Physical Therapy) was awarded 14 IRA travel grants of $1,000 each from Global and Extended Education, which will assist students that have signed up for the Study Abroad program to Central Europe this summer. Trueblood and Nancy Nisbett (Recreation Administration) will be taking 11 students in the College of Health and Human Services to visit Prague, Budapest and Berlin to learn about health care as they experience the culture, history and lifestyle within central Europe.

Bhupinder Singh (Physical Therapy) and his wife, Lindsay, welcomed a baby boy, Amar Russell Singh, on Jan. 20. Congratulations to the proud new parents!
