Netflix's "K-Pop Demon Hunters" animated movie is the latest top-rated cultural export from the South Korean government, part of the Hallyu (Korean Wave) movement.
Other top-streaming songs like "Gangnam Style" by PSY have followed the lead of Korean dramas and beauty products, which were successfully exported in prior decades and helped the country rebuild its economy after years of war and devastation.
In a recent video, Banh shares insight into the Korean pride behind these modern, artistic forms enjoyed by fans across the world.
