Please join the campus community to celebrate the progress of this signature facility with a ceremonial groundbreaking.
The Lynda and Stewart Resnick Student Union will transform the University by supporting a central hub for students on campus and will accommodate the student body for years to come.
A $10 million investment, announced in fall 2019, from Lynda and Stewart Resnick will support the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the new building. The 84,000-square-foot student union will include dynamic and interchangeable meeting spaces, dedicated spaces for student organizations and a relaxing outdoor terrace that can be used year-round.
Date: Thursday, Feb. 20
Time: 2:30 p.m.
Location: Lot P31, at the site of the construction
The ceremonial groundbreaking will take place at the construction site. Members of the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band's Bulldog Beat will perform before the ceremony begins. Members of the Fresno State cheerleading team and Victor E. Bulldog III will also be on hand.
