All are welcome to an open house of the Gandhi Center. Join us, take a look at the Gandhi Center and the artwork it houses, meet the director, and learn about activities at Fresno State related to Gandhi, the Indian Dharma traditions, and opportunities to study about peace and non-violent approaches.
The Gandhi Center is a part of the Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Humanities. Professor Veena Howard, a professor in the Philosophy Department and Endowed Chair in Jain and Hindu Dharma, serves as its director. Professor Raja Rosenhagen recently joined the Philosophy Department as an assistant professor to support the Philosophy Department and the PAX program through his work in Peace and Nonviolence Studies, analytic and Indian Philosophy.
Join us to celebrate with cookies and cider. Participate in the activity: write on the whiteboard your word for this holiday season.
Date: Monday, Dec. 9
Time: 1 - 3:30 p.m.
Location: Fresno State Library, third floor
