Katie Williamson, professional development and wellness coordinator for Organizational Excellence, has accepted a new position as a personal trainer at Five-O-Fitness in Visalia.
Williamson started at Fresno State as a student assistant in the Smittcamp Family Honors College, then worked as a teaching associate and a graduate assistant before being hired to revamp the employee wellness program. Several years later, she joined the Division of Administration and Finance as the professional development and wellness coordinator. She has been instrumental in providing a variety of well attended online and in-person professional development opportunities for our employees.
“It has been an honor to work with Katie and to support the important work she has done to strengthen our employee professional development program as a member of our Organizational Excellence team. Katie’s role as chair of the STAR Day committee has been pivotal for this important staff recognition day. Her many contributions have made a positive impact for our campus community and I wish her all the best in her new role,” said Debbie Adishian-Astone, vice president for administration and chief financial officer.
Please join us in reaching out to Williamson to wish her well. Her last work day is today, Dec. 6.
