Works Above and Beyond
Adriana Etchart Knutsen, University Marketing and Communications
Adriana usually comes to me for help with digital accessibility issues, but today, I needed her help with another department's flyer that I was struggling to make accessible. Not only did she explain what the problem was, she helped me recreate it! I was able to make her version accessible easily and the other department was happy to have a beautifully accessible flyer in return. That is the power of TEAMWORK! Thank you, Adriana, for your quick thinking and brilliant design help!
Kori Hanson, Craig School of Business
Kori has been really going above and beyond to help with a number of tasks relating to faculty support, accreditation, etc. She’s also been super helpful about demonstrating how to use our internal systems. Lastly, she’s great to work with and very positive.
Chris Hernandez, Office of Institutional Effectiveness
Chris provides data analysis to support assessment of student learning projects. He helped the library analyze our data to learn more about students' searching skills, and to identify equity gaps. His work will help us do more to support all students. Chris is very patient, dedicated to student success, teaches other faculty and staff new skills, and is basically a genius with campus stats :)
Gayle Sherwood, Research and Sponsored Programs
I'm truly grateful to have Gayle in our department. As I entered a new role within the office, I couldn't have asked for someone more patient, helpful, and supportive to guide me through the learning curves. She's a valuable member of our team – always thinking ahead and tackling challenges with persistence and dedication. We're so lucky to have her. Thanks a ton, Gayle, for all the guidance and support!
Saved My Bacon
Angelica Miramontes, College of Social Science
I am a new employee to campus, and I am very grateful for Angelica. She is very kind, genuine, and beyond helpful! If ever I have a question, I know that I can go to her for assistance, and she will kindly take the time to assist me. Thank you, I truly appreciate you!
