In commemoration of Human Rights Day, this series of panels and lectures will consider the importance of women’s rights.
Dec. 9, 9 a.m.–12 Noon, North Gym 118
The event will feature keynote speaker Amanda Renteria, chief of operations for the California Department of Justice. A panel on human rights is scheduled after the speech by Renteria. Information on education politics and family life will be available at table booths.
Speakers also will include: Carol Goldsmith, Francine Oputa, Patsy Montgomery, and Nicole Linder.
