Paul Ogden (Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies) recently published his memoir, "My life of Language", which tells his personal story of challenges faced and lessons learned as a deaf individual in a hearing world. Dr. Ogden has been teaching Deaf Studies at Fresno State for nearly 40 years.

Nicole Smith (Kinesiology) co-authored "Studies of physical education in the United States using SOFIT: A review" in the October 2017 issue of "Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport." 

Martha Vungkhanching (Social Work) co-authored a peer-reviewed journal, "Assessing psychological distress in cancer patients: The use of distress thermometer in an outpatient cancer/hematology treatment center" in the November 2017 edition of "Social Work in Health Care."
