The Fresno State Symphony Orchestra will embark on its third concert this semester with a special celebration for the upcoming holiday season at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at the Concert Hall.

The orchestra will perform several traditional favorites including Strauss’ Die Fledermaus Overture, the famous waltz Under Thunder and Lightning (Unter Donner und Blitz), and the Radetzky March.

Special guest artist clarinetist Guy Yehuda will join the orchestra for Jean Françaix’s virtuosic Clarinet Concerto, written in 1967. Dr. Yehuda is recognized as one of the most outstanding and unique talents on the international concert stage today.

Tickets are $15 general, $10 employees and seniors and $5 students.
