The Los Angeles based jazz quartet “Kneebody” will take the stage with the Fresno State Jazz Orchestra for the featured concert of the Fresno State Jazz Festival at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Concert Hall.

Kneebody is known for its explosive energy and adventurous improvisation with keyboardist Adam Benjamin, trumpeter Shane Endsley, saxophonist Ben Wendel and drummer/bassist Nate Wood. The group, along with vocalist Theo Bleckmann, was nominated for a Grammy in the “classical crossover” category in 2009.

Tickets are $15 general, $10 for employees and seniors and $5 for students.
