Jump-start your holiday season with classics such as "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Carol of the Bells" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" with the Fresno State choirs at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in the Fresno State Concert Hall.
In addition to the classics, you will also discover several traditional holiday pieces with a twist, such as Jonathan Miller’s "Jingle Bells Hallelujah," an adaptation of Handel’s famous "Hallelujah Chorus" and Matthew Culloton’s "In dulci jubilo."
The concert will feature performances by the Fresno State Chamber Singers, Concert Choir and Masterworks Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Cari Earnhart, and the University Singers, under the direction of Dr. Emily Mason. The concert will also feature a performance by the Clovis North Chamber Singers, under the direction of Heather Bishop, who will also combine with the Concert Choir to close out the concert.
Tickets are $10 general, $8 for seniors and employees and $5 for students.
