The Fresno State Black Faculty and Staff Association won first place at the annual Christmas Tree Exhibit held at the African American Historical and Cultural Museum of the San Joaquin Valley in the Mural District, near downtown Fresno.
The event invites community organizations to share their holiday spirit by creating elaborate Christmas trees representing their groups. Guests of all ages visit the museum and vote for their favorite entries.
Charah Coleman and her Money Management Center staff created a Bulldog-themed tree that beat out several black Greek-lettered and professional organizations. This was the association’s first entry in many years.
