Music is shaped by landscapes, both physical and cultural. Listening to music can be a wonderful way to learn about another place or time. It also is a known remedy for stress!

To close out the semester, the Library's Maps and Music & Media departments are hosting a "Silent Disco" on Dec. 2, 3 and 4. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. faculty, staff and students can visit the Library for a vintage record store experience.

Explore some of the niche music LPs the library has to offer; no reservations needed. We will have headphones, record players, and records for you to find familiar favorites or discover something new. Best of all, records will be available for checkout.

So let the music move you, and let's make the end of this semester groovy.
