After more than nine years of dedicated service at Fresno State, Kelly Russell, assistant vice president for Student Financial Resources, has announced her retirement. Her last day on campus will be Dec. 19.
Kelly has been a driving force in expanding access to financial aid at Fresno State — overseeing more than $250 million in aid and scholarships each year, leading the Tuition Advantage Program, guiding our campus through the new FAFSA rollout, and championing countless initiatives to better support students and families.
She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, innovation and student-centered leadership. Kelly shares that it’s been deeply rewarding to serve Fresno State’s students and to work with such dedicated colleagues.
