Get to know Maira Martinez-Hernandez who has been working for campus almost 10 years.

Some of you may know Maira, but do you know she loves her mom's Mexican food?

MAIRA MARTINEZ-HERNANDEZ

1. How long have you been on campus?
I have been on campus working part-time for three years and off campus in the same place working part-time and full-time seven years

2. What is your position?
My part-time position is adjunct faculty for the Counselor Education Program. My full-time position is clinical program manager and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the Kremen School of Education and Human Development outreach project called Fresno Family Counseling Center, providing low-cost counseling/mental health services to all of Fresno County.

3. How many different areas have you worked on campus?
As student assistant many, many years ago and as adjunct.

4. Favorite thing about campus?
Running work errands on campus on a beautiful sunny day and reminiscing on good old times.

5. Favorite food?
My mom's Mexican food from Michoacan, Mexico!

6. Favorite color?
Purple

7. Favorite quote?
"No dejes para mañana lo que puedes hacer hoy." (Do not postpone things for tomorrow that you can do today.)
