Works Above and Beyond
Tiffany Burmeister, Warehouse and Property Services
Thank you, Tiffany, for all of the hard work you do for our campus! I’ve personally witnessed you hauling pallets through the hallways and transporting deliveries from the elevator to the upper floors of the Joyal Building. Every time I run into you, you’re always on the move, working hard to make sure everything is delivered in a timely manner. You can barely stop long enough to say hello. Your dedication and strong work ethic truly do not go unnoticed. We are so fortunate to have such a hardworking and amazing woman like you supporting our campus.
Modeled Principles of Community
Katelin Eickholt, Student Housing
Katelin consistently demonstrates Fresno State’s Principles of Community through her kindness, respect and commitment to collaboration. She works closely with our office to ensure that students in Student Housing receive the support they need. Her clear and consistent communication keeps us informed every step of the way and helps us work together effectively. Our team truly appreciates her partnership and always enjoys working with her to support student success!
Alexis Ford-Duncil, Student Health and Counseling Center
Alexis took feedback on document accessibility and absolutely ran with it. After working through some significant accessibility challenges in her first version, she came back the very next day with a document that showed she hadn't just made corrections — she understood the why behind them. She rethought the document from the perspective of someone using assistive technology and rebuilt it with accessibility and structure in mind. Seeing that kind of learning happen so quickly was an incredible win. Thank you, Alexis, for being open to feedback, putting accessibility into practice, and showing what it looks like to design with everyone in mind. High five, well earned! — Dr. T
Facilities Management - Painting Team
Abe and the entire painting team did an excellent job on our office repaint this past summer. They went above and beyond to ensure that we got the colors we wanted, that the paint job was immaculate, and that all possible measures were taken to mitigate paint fumes during and after the job. Thank you for being so responsive and professional and doing amazing work!
