University Advancement is pleased to announce that the search for the Associate Vice President for Development has been successfully completed. Caty Perez has accepted the offer and will begin as the Associate Vice President for Development effective immediately.
Caty has filled the role of interim AVP for Development since 2016. She has 17 years of experience in development roles at Fresno State. She has led successful fundraising efforts for a number of schools, including the Lyles College of Engineering and the Craig School of Business. Caty's formal education includes a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Fresno Pacific University and an M.A. in Education from Fresno State.
Her professional affiliations include the Irvine Foundation New Leadership Network, Fresno Innovative Charter Schools, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Council for the Support of Higher Education, and many others.
As the AVP for Development, Caty leads the 20-member development team and serves as a partner to administrators, deans, faculty, and community members.
Caty brings her wealth of experience, genuine care for this community, and love for Fresno State to work every day, and she is well-poised to inspire and increase philanthropy as we all work to boldly educate and empower students for success.
