About the Fresno State Symphony Orchestra
The Fresno State Symphony Orchestra is an ensemble comprised of and open to Fresno State students from all areas of study.
The orchestra presents four concerts to the public each season, featuring standard, as well as some neglected, repertoire for symphony orchestra, ranging from the baroque period to the Twenty-First Century.
In addition, the orchestra also performs works in collaboration with the Fresno State Choirs, features faculty, guests, and winners from the annual concerto competition as soloists, and premieres compositions written by students and faculty.
