The Central Valley Health Policy Institute is excited to begin recruiting for the next cohort of the Health Policy Leadership Program, which will focus on emerging issues in health care. The 2024 cohort XVIIII last spring brought together participants from local health departments and community-based organizations to learn about climate change and intersections in public health. Over the course of the year, participants developed and honed their skills in data analysis, health equity and leadership; and applied these skills within their local communities to inform and contribute to public health policy.
Following the success of the last cohort, the CHVPI is inviting interested stakeholders to apply for the 2024-25 HPLP Cohort: Emerging Issues in Healthcare. The incoming cohort will learn about pressing health care issues impacting the local region using the most up-to-date research and data as well as opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and collaboration.
