FREE lunchtime fitness classes for Fresno State employees.
Some days, the only movement in our workday is from one responsibility to the next. What if stepping away to move for 50 minutes could actually help you return to your workday feeling better equipped for what's next?
When the workday gets demanding, taking nearly an hour to exercise can feel counterproductive. Research shows that even a single session of physical activity can improve mood and support cognitive functions like attention and executive function — benefits that can matter when you return to the rest of your workday.
And here's something you may not know: Fresno State's lunchtime physical activity classes are completely free for employees. No gym membership. No class fee. Just register, show up and move.
Open to faculty and staff. All fitness levels welcome. No previous experience required. Classes are offered from 12:10 to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, in the South Gym. See the schedule below to find the class and day that works for you.
