American Council on Education [ACE] Women's Network - Northern California was established by the former Office of Women in Higher Education (OWHE) of the American Council on Education (ACE) as part of a nationwide effort to increase the number of talented women in policy-making positions in higher education.
The organization consists of state networks of leaders across the country interested in gender equity as a factor in advancing qualified women in the world of higher education. The organization is committed to moving women into college presidencies and other senior level positions.
Fresno State is a member institution of the ACE Women's Network - Northern California, which will be hosting a conference from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Saint Mary's College in Moraga. The conference is open to all campus employees and will focus on helping participants recognize their power, find their purpose and create progress for all women in higher education.
