As we prepare to welcome students back for the fall semester, faculty and staff are asked to help reinforce Fresno State’s updated buildings and grounds policy, which takes effect Aug. 19.

The policy prohibits motorized vehicles in the core of campus, including motorized scooters, electric bicycles, mopeds, motorized skateboards and Segway-style devices. Devices used for ADA mobility purposes and state vehicles are exempt.

Motorized devices should not be stored in classrooms, offices or other university buildings. Individuals who use them to travel to campus must leave them at one of five designated storage locations shown on the published map.
