The University will mark the start of the 2017 academic year by welcoming new first-year, graduate, and transfer students to the Fresno State family at the New Student Convocation scheduled for August 21, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Save Mart Center.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to join our new students during the convocation ceremony, as well as greet our new students as they enter the Save Mart Center by participating in the welcoming reception line.

For welcome reception line participants, please enter the Save Mart Center using the West entrance by 2 p.m. for instructions and to obtain your New Student Convocation t-shirt that you can wear for the welcoming line.

Doors will open for the welcoming line at 2:15 p.m. at the Northwest entrance to the Save Mart Center.
