Works Above and Beyond
Carolyn Coon, Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
We had a successful Summer Residential Program thanks to the support of Dr. Coon and her team. This is the first Summer Residential Program since 2019 and there were a lot of things we needed to prepare for. Having quick responses from Dr. Coon made the program run so much smoother. Thank you for your support, Dr. Coon, it means a lot!
Martina Granados, Outreach and Special Programs
Martina's guidance and support was instrumental in the implementation of a successful Summer Residential Program and College Tour. This was the first Summer Residential Program and College Tour we have offered to our Educational Talent Search-Fresno students since 2019. Thank you for all your guidance, support and hard work Martina. We are grateful for your leadership!
Blake Greenwood, Fresno State Foundation
Blake is just amazing. She went above and beyond to help submit a Federal Financial report to the National Institutes of Health. Blake is relatively new to her position as post award analyst I, but showed excellent initiative and a commitment to the Principles of Community, specifically collaboration, by working with Research and Sponsored Programs to submit this important financial report. When she couldn't find an answer easily, she took the initiative and used her resources to get it. She worked with me directly, but also contacted the National Institutes of Health and worked with her colleagues to provide an accurate report. Thank you, Blake. You rock!
Malisa Lee, Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
Thank you Dr. Lee for all the support you provided during our Educational Talent Search Summer Residential Program. We had a successful event and college tour. Thank you for all your support! All the little things you do to support our program do not go unnoticed.
Accounting
Thank you, Accounting, for working above and beyond!
Library Digital Services
When the CSU Board of Trustees voted to remove the name of the Library, the Library Digital Services Unit stood at the ready to manage the daunting task of changing the branding on our most visible webpages, web properties and databases. They voluntarily gave up vacation time, managed last-minute changes, and pushed the changes in a timely fashion, so the communications roll-out went off without a hitch. Working alongside Technology Services and Brand Strategy and Marketing, our public-facing web properties were shifted seamlessly due to the diligence of Digital Services. Their work continues on our thousands of digital resources, but we appreciate all of their efforts!
Provides Excellence Customer Service
Reinalda Arreguin-Dominguez, Facilities Management
Reinalda answered my call when the power went out with care, concern and a willingness to serve. Her customer service is exactly what we stand for here at Fresno State: she was respectful, she was kind, she was collaborative and accountable. Reinalda, please know your help was appreciated today! Thank you.
Rob Bartsch, Technology Service
Rob helped us solve an issue quickly and efficiently, as usual. He was informative, friendly and made the solution clear while also explaining why it happened in the first place. Thanks again!
Michelle Perez, Maribel Olea, Admissions and Recruitment
Kathy Dunbar, University Advising Center
Kathy, Maribel and Michelle have assisted in the Returning Student Application webinars for the past three years. Their optimistic and caring approach, combined with their knowledge, motivates students to re-apply to Fresno State. In addition, Kathy, Maribel and Michelle create a “safe space” in the webinars for those unsure of eligibility and those who may need a little more support in their decision to return as a student. I feel that students have a very good experience attending the webinar.
