Dr. Ahran Koo, an associate professor of art education published the article, "Belonging Pedagogy: Revisiting Identity, Culture, and Difference" in the Studies in Art Education journal, March 25, 2024. This study examines belonging pedagogy as an effective, culturally respectful intervention in art education.

Dr. Peter Robertson (AEAG) shared two presentations to the 23rd annual Mega Conference. The State Center Community College District event was offered for its classified professionals and was held at the RSU.

The two current exhibitions at the Special Collections Research Center at the Library, "Unseen Labor" and "Words Matter!" have just been reviewed in ARLIS/NA LER (Art Libraries Society of North America, Library Exhibitions Review) (Issue 2, 2024). The review on "Words Matter!" was authored by Art and Design professor Yasmin Rodriguez. Kudos to Julie Moore and the entire SCRC team for all their hard work in bringing these two exhibitions to life.
