Keith Kompsi, director of the Foundation Financial Services is retiring at the end of April. Join us for his retirement celebration from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 in the Vintage Room.
Keith is a native of Fresno and attended Roosevelt High, Fresno City College, and Fresno State, where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Business/Accounting. After obtaining his CPA license while working for a Big-8 CPA Firm, Keith worked in private industry, holding various roles in financial and executive management.
Keith joined the Fresno State Foundation in 2005, assuming the role of director of Foundation Financial Services. During the past 20 years, he oversaw the Foundation’s net assets increase from $87 million to over $330 million.
During his tenure, Keith became a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and in 2017 served as statewide president for the CSU’s Auxiliary Organizations Association. He has also been actively involved in community service, including chairing the audit committee of Girl Scouts of Central California, and serving on the boards of United Cerebral Palsy of Central California, State Center Community College Foundation, and The Fansler Foundation.
Over the last 20 years, Keith has made many significant contributions and formed valuable relationships in his ongoing effort to support the Foundation and the campus community. His counsel, guidance, and dad jokes will be missed, but we wish him all the best as he enters this next life chapter.
Stop by anytime to wish Keith well in his retirement between 3 and 5 p.m. Wednesday April 23 in the Vintage Room. If you have any questions, contact Nicole Lane at nlane@mail.fresnostate.edu.
