Six faculty from across Fresno State have been named fellows in the inaugural cohort of the Public Voices Project. The Public Voices Project (PVP) helps Fresno State faculty bring their research, lived experience and disciplinary expertise into public conversations through writing and publishing op-eds on timely issues of public interest for local, regional and national audiences.
This semester, through consultation and workshopping, faculty will produce an op-ed article to share research-informed perspectives on issues that matter to the Central Valley and beyond, with the purpose of strengthening trust between higher education and the public and demonstrating Fresno State’s role as a public-serving university.
