Join our Survivor Advocate, Mindy Kates, for the "How to Help" presentation. Have you ever had someone (a friend, family member, student or colleague) disclose something traumatic to you and you didn’t know how to respond? Do you worry someone might disclose something like sexual assault or interpersonal violence and you wouldn’t know what to say? Would you like to help create a community in which survivors feel comfortable to come forward to get the help and support they need? If so, come to this presentation. It is open to students, staff and faculty. You will learn skills that can help you in both your personal and professional life.
