The Department of Economics hosts “Current Economy Outlook and Federal Reserve Monetary Policy Simulation at Fresno State” from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, May 3 at the Henry Madden Library, Room 2206.
A federal economist from the Federal Reserve Bank, San Francisco, will provide a keynote speech about the current economic condition and outlook. Economics students are also featured as presenters. Q&A sessions will follow.
The event covers topics relevant to the current economy and provides information about the Federal Reserve Banks, what they do, and how they conduct monetary policy related to the economy.
