Dr. Agnes Tuska in the Department of Mathematics is retiring. Agnes joined the Department of Mathematics in fall of 1992. Being as passionate as she was about mathematical problem solving, Agnes was known for her collaborative work with current and prospective mathematics teachers. She did numerous projects with the Kremen School of Education and Human Development such as the San Joaquin Valley Mathematics Project.
After she retires, she plans on joining Faculty Early Retirement Program (FERP), to continue her work with mathematics education. She wants to travel the world and spend time in her native country, Hungary. Her department will celebrate her retirement and all of her accomplishments on campus.
