The Jordan College’s Institute for Food and Agriculture announces the return of its popular Kids' Ag Camp this summer, offering local youth ages seven to 12 an unforgettable experience immersed in the world of food and agriculture.
This engaging summer camp is designed to foster a love for agriculture through 20 hours of hands-on learning, providing a perfect blend of learning and outdoor adventures. Each session allows for only 30 participants, ensuring personalized attention for each camper. Youth can register for one of three sessions, making it a great chance for those eager to connect with nature and gain practical knowledge about farming and food production.
Session Details:
- Session 1
8 a.m. - noon Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13 (For ages 10-12)
- Session 2
8 a.m. - noon Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20 (For ages 10-12)
- Session 3
8 a.m. - noon Monday, June 23 - Friday, June 27 (For ages 7-9)
Registration for each session is $150 per youth, which includes all instruction, materials and supplies, and an authentic Fresno State agricultural experience. Registration opens at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 1. Parents are encouraged to secure a spot for their children early, as spaces are limited and fill up quickly.
