For the 28th year, the Fresno State Library presents an exhibit to recognize the outstanding contributions to research, scholarship and creative work made by the Fresno State faculty. The publications can be viewed on the third floor of the Library in the Pete P. Peters Ellipse Balcony through April 28. Get ready for Fresno State’s Research Week by learning about work produced by faculty across campus.
Each year, the Library invites campus departments to submit work by their faculty that is deserving of special recognition. This year, we received nearly 120 publications representing every school and college including the Library. Submissions included numerous journal articles and scholarly books and book chapters, along with music recordings, poetry and creative writing, a theatrical adaptation and a graphic novel.
The collaborative nature of Fresno State researchers is reflected in the fact that over two thirds of the publications have multiple authors. Faculty collaborate with colleagues within their departments, with Fresno State colleagues in other disciplines and with peers at other institutions. Fifteen publications include Fresno State student researchers as co-authors.
