Send us photos of your home office.
Do you have a lovable pet, beautiful view outside your window, or can you finally rock out to your music as loud as you want in your favorite work at home spot? Each week we will feature faculty and staff and their new office space. Email your photos to campusnews@csufresno.edu and include one or two sentences about what makes your space special for you.
A big thank you to the employees who submitted early to kick us off.
The week in photos (April 13-17):
Frank Johnson, data technician, Advancement Services
I have created my work station in our extra room in my house. In my office at work I don't have a window, but at my home office, I now have a window view. It is very enjoyable to look out and see the blue sky, green grass, and wonderful variety of colors of all the flowers. It is calming and very relaxing.
Elise Barba, Peach Blossom associate director and lecturer, Department of Communication
I like working at my home desk because I can open the windows and let the morning air and sounds in, and because it’s a short walk to the kitchen! There’s also a fat gray cat that likes to visit my office hours to knock over my coffee cups and eat my plants.
Jessica Piffero, social media specialist, University Communications
My home office is set up in our guest room. It's currently much less cluttered than my office on campus, but just give it some time to catch up. Of course I had to make sure I'm still showing my Bulldog pride from home!
Katie Williamson, professional development and wellness coordinator, Office of Organizational Excellence
What I love about working from my home office is having natural sunlight streaming in all day through my window, as well as having the ability to easily take my work outside when I need some fresh air and change of scenery. I enjoy lighting my favorite candle, drinking my latte as I sit down to work, and taking my dog for a walk during my afternoon break. Plus not having to commute two hours everyday has been a huge stress reliever and great to get those extra hours back in my day.
Randy A. Aoki, coordinator of special events, Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and administrative support, Interim Vice Provost, Office of the Vice Provost
What I like best about working from home is that I am very close to the refrigerator and snacks. The bad part is that I am gaining too much weight.
Fatih Yenen, web developer, Technology Services
I enjoy sitting in my backyard with a nice view of the roses while listening to music. It's also nice to make lemonade with the fresh lemons from the tree.
