Congratulations to the winners of the Spring Transformation Challenge!
It was a very close race for the past eight weeks, and the winning team, Team Jessica Medina, won by less than one point. Winning team members consisted of Jessica Medina, Stephanie Annett, Georgianna Negron-Long, Melissa Norris and Lerin Winchester.
In second place was team Amy Luna, with team members Blanca Camacho, Lisa Garcia, Marcy Gatzman, Amy Luna and Alicia Nelson. Amy’s team was neck-and-neck with Jessica’s team the entire challenge, followed closely behind by Josie Almeida’s team. Josie’s team members included Juanita Aguilar, Sarah Confer, Sue Delcroix, Josie Almeida and Tracey Garza.
Despite many employees transitioning to working remotely, this semester’s Transformation Challenge participants stuck together and continued logging their points for healthy behaviors, even from home.
For the eight week challenge, teams earned points every week by submitting individual logs for completing healthy behaviors such as walking one mile, drinking water, eating fruits and vegetables, meditating, encouraging team members and reaching personal goals. The consistency and team camaraderie continued even when off campus! 115 employees participated in this semester’s Transformation Challenge; a new challenge will begin in the fall.
Congratulations, and thank you to all who participated.
