Serving as an Equal Employment Opportunity Designee (EEOD) reflects a sincere interest in service to our university. During this training, we will discuss the reasons why your service is important, the way this campus uses EEOD's, identify resources for those wishing to serve as an EEOD and examine the types of discrimination that can happen while recruiting to fill vacancies. We have 60 minutes to cover these topics, so some will be covered in a little less “detail” than others. At the conclusion of this workshop, each attendee will be able to serve on a search committee as an EEOD. This is also for current EEOD's who would like a refresher. Each session will be virtual for those wishing to attend.
