Let’s Celebrate Diversity at Fresno State!
The Cross Cultural and Gender Center will host events the week of April 18 to highlight diversity on campus.
Monday, April 18: Cross Cultural Programs and Services will be hosting a kick-off event at the Memorial Gardens (lawn across from the bookstore) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free food will be available for the first 200 participants!
Tuesday, April 19: Cross Cultural Programs and Services is hosting a panel discussion that explores banned themes (critical race theory, LGBTQ+ identities, etc.) in literature and the impact that banning books has on libraries, education and society. This event will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Register here: bit.ly/BannedStories.
Wednesday, April 20: Lastly, Asian Pacific Islander is hosting an event titled Lunch and Learn: Hmong Students and their Experiences With Student Services at Fresno State. This event will be hosted virtually from noon to 1 p.m. Register here: bit.ly/LunchLearnSpring2022.
