Dr. Larissa M. Mercado-López, Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies Department professor and chair, has published a new book titled, “The Selena Reader: Remembering the Queen of Tejano.”
Mercado-López will discuss her newly-released work from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16 in the Leon S. Peters Ellipse Gallery.
Dr. Brad A. Jones, professor in the Department of History, will serve as the keynote speaker for the 26th annual History Graduate Student Symposium hosted by the Fresno State History Department.
Jones will present a lecture on the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, in the Library, Room 2206.
Dr. Matthew J. Sharps and Dr. Jana Price-Sharps of the Department of Psychology have published a new book, "Dissociation and Belief: The Psychology of Why Things Go Horribly Wrong, and What To Do About It." The book explores how the psychological process of dissociation contributes to poor decisions and how the negative effects of dissociation can be reduced or eliminated.
