Faculty and staff play critical roles as grassroots leaders to push forward institutional transformation towards racial equity. This group of informal and formal leaders embody certain characteristics and build individual and group capacity to advance change. This session begins with key characteristics of institutional change agents at minority serving institutions that emerged from a recent study. Then, participants will engage in a series of reflections and activities to support their own capacity building as institutional change agents as Asian and Asian Americans at an Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI).
Date: Friday, April 16
