The higher education community increasingly leverages cloud computing for academic projects and research. With this in mind, Technology Services, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), is offering an introductory cloud computing session covering the foundational skills needed to understand and use all things cloud. Faculty, staff, and student researchers will learn to accelerate and expand their projects using cloud computing resources. No prior AWS or cloud knowledge is needed.
Presenters include:
- Bao Johri, vice president for IT and CIO
- Dr. Alam Hasson, vice provost and senior academic technology officer
- Dr. Scott Friedman, principal technical business development manager for AWS Research
