The event will feature thousands of plants ranging from small citrus trees, herbs, flowers, flowering shrubs, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, beans, watermelons, houseplants, and more.
The Fresno State Horticulture Nursery will host its annual spring plant sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Gibson Farm Market (5368 N. Chestnut Ave.).
Special prices are available for organic and conventional spring season vegetable seedlings that are ready to plant in gardens and landscapes.
Shoppers can also purchase new items such as smoky jalapeno ranch chick and pork sausage and strawberry, blueberry and chocolate granola. Pinot Noir wine from the campus winery is on sale for 20% off, and the produce section now has asparagus and strawberries in season.
