Works Above and Beyond
Gardenia Morales, Foundation Financial Services
Gardenia goes above and beyond in her role, demonstrating an incredible dedication to excellence. She is always reaching out to ensure that I have the support I need and works with me to tackle challenges and find solutions to problems that our program comes across. Her willingness to step up and go the extra mile does not go unnoticed. Her hard work and positive attitude make a significant impact on our team, and I truly appreciate her commitment to excellence every day.
Simran Nagra, Office of Institutional Effectiveness
Simran is a testament to going above and beyond through considerate and thoughtful work. I cannot even appreciate all the ways Kremen is so blessed to have her insight and approach to research for the myriad of inquiries related to our data-capturing, analysis and presentation of this information. A huge thank you for all the help with contact lists and marketing figures and for being such an integral part of making so many informed decisions because of all your critical and stellar work!
Saved My Bacon
Shawna Blair, Student Involvement and Student Unions
On the morning of our alumni and friends event in Sacramento, we discovered our backdrop was broken and unusable. In a pinch, I reached out to our friends in Student Involvement, and Shawna went above and beyond to find a replacement for us. Not only did she locate one, but she and her student helped load it into our car. She truly saved the day, and we are so grateful!
Lauren Gallegos, Admissions
I love it when I discover hidden strengths in my colleagues. Recently, we had a staff member who was responsible for creating and updating our Qualtrics forms resign. During a meeting today, I was sharing how I needed to figure out how to update these forms when Lauren spoke up and said, "I know how to do it. Just provide me collaboration access." Lauren, your willingness to step up and help out is appreciated. You saved my bacon, and I can't thank you enough for your support and teamwork. High five to you!
Lana Korol, Admissions
When a vacancy left a gap in our communication with students, Lana stepped up to support the team in creating messaging in the Fresno Messaging System, something that is foreign to me. Using her expertise, she is helping us figure out the system and the setup. I truly appreciate Lana’s dedication and willingness to lend a hand when it was needed most. Your teamwork and quick action make a big difference — thank you, Lana. High five to you!
Alex Moun, Technology Services
When a vacancy left a gap in our communication to students, Alex didn’t hesitate to jump in and support the team as he always does. He tackled the technical process of integrating Admissions Messages into Fresno messaging. You are appreciated in the Admissions office!
Isela Roders, University Registrar
Due to a vacancy in our department, we were left with a gap in our communication with students. Thankfully, Isela stepped up and has been absolutely instrumental in managing the process to place all of the Admissions Messaging into Fresno Messenger. I am so grateful for her expertise and dedication in getting this done so quickly. Isela, your hard work and commitment to keeping our communication on track make a huge difference. Thank you for stepping up and making it happen. High five to you!
